SILTEM™ Resin STM1700 (Americas) by SABIC is a PFAS-free, halogen-free (according VDE 0472), flame retardant, flexible polyetherimide (PEI) - siloxane copolymer designed for wire and cable applications. It offers low smoke emission, energy management and toxicity. It is an amber colored transparent material that can be self-colored and easily processed on conventional equipment. SILTEM™ Resin STM1700 (Americas) is suitable for flexible profiles and injection molded parts. It is recommended for aerospace, electrical and electronic, mass transportation such as rail, industrial, material handling & defense applications.
