ULTEM™ resin 1000EF

ULTEM™ resin 1000EF by SABIC is an unreinforced, amorphous, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) resin. It is suitable for processing by additive manufacturing, extrusion blow molding-, foam-, film- & profile extrusion, compounding and injection molding. It shows good chemical-, radiation (gamma, x-ray), UV-C-, and high heat resistance. It provides high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, low smoke, low food stain, toxicity and good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength, good dimensional stability, good processability and electrical properties. ULTEM™ resin 1000EF is suitable for flexible food & consumer packaging, home decoration, personal accessory, home & commercial appliances and personal recreation. It is UL 94 V-0 and 5VA flame rated, RoHS and global food compliant (FDA, CN, EC).
