ULTEM™ resin 1100 (Americas) by SABIC is amorphous, general purpose, flame-retarded polyetherimide (PEI) grade. Offers standard flow, good chemical resistance, high pigment load and high heat resistance. Provides high stiffness, strength, hydrolytic stability, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, low smoke and toxicity. Exhibits good mechanicals in broad temperature range, low creep sensitivity and good dimensional stability. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in electrical devices & displays, electronics, home & commercial appliances, consumer and industrial applications. ULTEM™ resin 1100 (Americas) is ECO conforming and complies with RoHS & UL 94 V-0, V-2 & 5VA flame rating.
