ULTEM™ resin 2100 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin 2100 (Americas) by SABIC is an amorphous, general-purpose polyetherimide (PEI) reinforced with 10% glass fiber. It is a standard flow, flame retardant grade with low toxicity and smoke evolution.

Offers good chemical resistance and high heat resistance. Provides high stiffness, strength, hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity and low shrinkage.
Exhibits good mechanicals in broad temperature range, good metal adhesion and dimensional stability.
It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
Recommended for rigid packaging, mass transportation (aircraft interiors, heavy truck, bus, specialty vehicles, servomotor), industrial, electrical components, electronics material handling, building & construction, hydrocarbon & wind energy and consumer applications.
It is also used in defense, automotive interior & under the hood, sports & leisure, semiconductors, home & commercial appliance, lawn and landscape.
ULTEM™ resin 2100 (Americas) is UL 94 V-0 and 94 5VA flame rated. Complies with ECO regulations and meets NSF 51 listing and WRAS certification.

ISCC+ certified bio-based version also available for this grade.
