ULTEM™ resin 2100R (Europe)

ULTEM™ resin 2100R (Europe) by SABIC is a 10% glass fiber reinforced, polyetherimide (PEI) resin with low toxicity and smoke characteristics. It is an amorphous, flame retardant, general purpose grade offering high heat- & chemical resistance, high stiffness, strength and enhanced electroplatability. Exhibits good flow, internal mold release, low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage and good metal adhesion. It also provides excellent dimensional- & hydrolytic stability, as well as mechanical properties in broad temperatures ranges. ULTEM™ resin 2100R (Europe) is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is designed for rigid packaging, aircraft interiors, defense, outdoor, lawn & landscape, semiconductors, heavy truck, automotive interiors, electrical devices & displays, building & construction, specialty vehicles, rail and wind energy. It is also used in sport/leisure, personal accessory, textile, bus, energy storage, home appliances, servomotor, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation, composite, automotive under the hood, electronic material, commercial appliance, recreational vehicle, mass transportation, industrial, automotive, electrical & electronics, consumer, hydrocarbon and energy. It complies with UL 94 V-0 & 5VA flame rating and ECO regulations.
