SABIC
ULTEM™ resin 2200 (Europe) by SABIC is an amorphous, general purpose, flame retardant, 20% glass fiber filled polyetherimide (PEI) grade. Offers standard flow, good chemical resistance and high heat resistance.
  • Provides high stiffness, strength, hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity and low shrinkage.
  • Exhibits good mechanicals in broad temperature range, good metal adhesion and dimensional stability.
    • It shows low toxicity and smoke evolution and is suitable for processing by injection molding.
  • Recommended for rigid packaging, mass transportation (aircraft interiors, heavy truck, bus, specialty vehicles, servomotor), industrial, electrical components, electronics material handling, building & construction, hydrocarbon & wind energy and consumer applications.
  • It is also used in defense, automotive interior & under the hood, sports & leisure, semiconductors, home & commercial appliance, lawn and landscape.
  • ULTEM™ resin 2200 (Europe) is UL 94 V-0 and 94 5VA flame rated.
  • Complies with ECO regulations and meets NSF 51 listing and WRAS certification.
ISCC+ certified bio-based version also available for this grade.
