ULTEM™ resin 2212R (Asia)

ULTEM™ resin 2212R (Asia) by SABIC is an amorphous, flame retardant, general purpose, polyetherimide (PEI) grade reinforced with 20% milled glass fiber. Offers high heat- & chemical resistance and mechanical properties in broad temperatures ranges. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It provides excellent dimensional- & hydrolytic stability, high stiffness, strength and easy processability along with low toxicity and smoke characteristics. It exhibits good flow, internal mold release, low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage and good metal adhesion. Recommended for aircraft interiors, defense, semiconductors, automotive interiors, electrical devices & displays, personal accessory, energy storage, home appliances, servomotor, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation, composite, automotive under the hood and electronic material. It is also used in commercial appliance, recreational vehicle, mass transportation, industrial, automotive, electrical & electronics, consumer, hydrocarbon and energy. ULTEM™ resin 2212R (Asia) complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating and conforms to ECO regulations.
