ULTEM™ resin 2312 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin 2312 (Americas) by SABIC is an amorphous, easy flow, general purpose, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) resin reinforced with 30% glass fiber. It exhibits high heat & chemical resistance, high strength, high stiffness and hydrolytic stability. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It offers good dimensional stability and good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Provides low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, low smoke & toxicity. ULTEM™ resin 2312 (Americas) is recommended for aircraft interiors, defense, semiconductors, automotive interiors, electrical devices & displays, home & commercial appliances, personal accessory and servomotor. It is also used in electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation, composite, automotive under the hood, recreational vehicle, mass transportation, industrial, automotive, consumer, hydrocarbon and energy storage. It complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating and is ECO conforming.
