ULTEM™ Resin 3310TD

ULTEM™ Resin 3310TD by SABIC is an amorphous, mineral-filled, near infra-red transparent polyetherimide (PEI) grade. It offers significantly lower coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and high near-infrared (IR) transmission without degrading signal quality. It can be potential replacement for glass.
  • Exhibits high flow, low warpage, creep resistance, high refractive index and dimensional stability.
  • Imparts high stiffness/strength, high temperature & chemical resistance.
  • Provides better design, micro-molding and production capability as well as saves cost as compared to traditional aspherical glass lenses.
  • Designed for thin wall applications and processed by injection molding.
  • ULTEM™ Resin 3310TD is suitable for single-mode optical transceiver lenses, optical modems and optical cables.
  • It can be used in LiDAR sensors (automotive), drones (electronics) and robots (industrial).
