ULTEM™ resin 3452 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin 3452 (Americas) by SABIC is an amorphous, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) grade reinforced with 45% glass and mineral fiber. Offers easy flow, good dimensional stability with low toxicity and smoke evolution. Provides high stiffness, strength, hydrolytic stability and mechanicals in broad temperature range. Exhibits good, chemical resistance, good low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion and high heat resistance. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for defense, fossil, mass transportation (heavy truck, specialty vehicles, bus, recreational vehicle), sport/leisure, servomotor, consumer, electronics, electrical components & infrastructure, industrial material handling, automotive under the hood, hydrocarbon and energy. ULTEM™ resin 3452 (Americas) complies with UL 94 V-0 & 5VA flame rating and conforms to ECO regulations.
