ULTEM™ resin 4000 (Asia) by SABIC is an amorphous, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) filled with glass fiber, PTFE and graphite. It offers hydrolytic stability, excellent dimensional stability, high stiffness, low smoke & toxicity, good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion and high strength. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It shows wear-, chemical- and high heat resistance. ULTEM™ resin 4000 (Asia) is recommended for devices & displays, beverage, personal accessory, home appliances, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation, commercial appliance and consumer. It is UL 94 V-0 flame rated and ECO conforming.
