ULTEM™ resin 4000 (Europe) by SABIC is an amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) resin filled with glass fiber, PTFE, and graphite. It is a flame retardant and suitable for processing by injection molding. It provides hydrolytic stability, excellent dimensional stability, high stiffness, low smoke & toxicity and good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Offers low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, and high strength. It exhibits wear-, chemical and high heat resistance. ULTEM™ resin 4000 (Europe) is used in devices & displays, beverage, personal accessory, home & commercial appliances, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation and consumer. It complies with UL 94 V-0 flame rating and is ECO conforming.
