ULTEM™ resin 4002 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin 4002 (Americas) by SABIC is an amorphous, flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) filled with PTFE. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It offers high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, low smoke & low toxicity and good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Provides low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and good dimensional stability. Exhibits wear-, high heat-, and chemical resistance. ULTEM™ resin 4002 is used in electrical devices & displays, beverage, personal accessory & recreation, home & commercial appliances, electronic material handling and consumer applications. It is UL 94 V-0 & 5VA flame rated and conforms with ECO regulations.
