ULTEM™ resin 4211 (Americas) by SABIC is an amorphous, standard flow polyetherimide (PEI) resin filled with 20% glass fiber and PTFE. It is flame retardant and suitable for processing by injection molding. Provides hydrolytic stability, excellent dimensional stability, high stiffness, low smoke & toxicity and good mechanicals in broad temperature range. Exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion and high strength. Shows wear-, chemical-, and high heat resistance. ULTEM™ resin 4211 (Americas) is used in electrical devices & displays, beverage, personal accessory, home & commercial appliances, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure, personal recreation and consumer applications. It is ECO conforming and UL 94 V-0 flame rated.
