ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Americas) by SABIC is amorphous, sustainable, PFAS-free, non-halogenated flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) and polycarbonate copolymer blend. It is high flow grade with low toxicity, smoke and flame evolution. It provides high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, chemical resistance, good processability, dimensional stability, good mechanicals in broad temperature range.

• It exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance.
• It is processed by large format additive manufacturing (LFAM), 3D printing, fused deposition modeling (FDM) printing, sheet extrusion, injection molding, profile extrusion and thermoforming.
• ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Americas) is used in aerospace cabin interiors and rail applications.
• It is ECO conforming and meets FAR 25.853 and OSU 65/65 regulations.
