ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Asia)

ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Asia) by SABIC is a non-halogenated flame retardant polyetherimide (PEI) and polycarbonate copolymer blend. It is amorphous, PFAS-free, high flow grade with low toxicity, smoke and flame evolution. It provides high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, chemical resistance, good processability, good mechanicals in broad temperature range.

• It exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, dimensional stability, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance.
• It is processed by large format additive manufacturing (LFAM), 3D printing, fused deposition modeling (FDM) printing, sheet extrusion, injection molding, profile extrusion and thermoforming.
• ULTEM™ resin 9085 (Asia) is used in aerospace cabin interiors and rail applications.
• It is ECO conforming and meets FAR 25.853 and OSU 65/65 regulations.
