ULTEM™ resin CRS5201 (Europe)

ULTEM™ resin CRS5201 (Europe) by SABIC is an amorphous, standard flow polyetherimide (PEI) copolymer reinforced with 20% glass fiber. It offers low smoke & toxicity, good mechanicals in broad temperature range and low creep sensitivity. Shows enhanced chemical resistance to strong acids, bases, aromatics, and ketones. Provides high strength, high heat resistance, low shrinkage and good dimensional stability. It exhibits good metal adhesion, high stiffness and hydrolytic stability. Suitable for processing by injection molding. ULTEM™ resin CRS5201R (Europe) is used in aircraft interiors, defense, fossil, mass transportation (heavy truck, rail, bus), automotive interiors & under the hood, industrial, hydrocarbon and energy. Complies with UL 94 V-0 & 5VA flame rating and conforms to ECO regulations.
