ULTEM™ resin DU242

ULTEM™ resin DU242 by SABIC is a PFAS-free, electroplatable, flame retardant, amorphous, high flow polyetherimide (PEI) blend. It exhibits high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, enhanced low temperature impact and chemical resistance. It provides low shrinkage, high stiffness/strength, creep resistance and good dimensional stability with high temperature resistance.

It is used in automotive (heavy truck, automotive under the hood, aerospace, motorcycle, recreational/specialty vehicle), building & construction (building component), consumer (personal accessory, sports/leisure, home & commercial appliance, furniture) and hygiene & healthcare .
It is suitable for processing by injection molding.
It is recommended for electrical & electronics (energy management, drone solutions, mobile phone, computer, tablets, circuit boards/additives, printer copier, speaker, earphone, wireless communication), industrial (material handling, textile, eyewear), industrial packaging and mass transportation (rail).
