ULTEM™ resin HU1100 (Asia)

ULTEM™ resin HU1100 (Asia) by SABIC is an unreinforced, amorphous, flame-retarded, standard flow, high stiffness polyetherimide with glass transition temperature of 217°C. It provides hydrolytic stability, good dimensional stability, chemical resistance, low smoke and toxicity. It is steam-, gamma-, EtO- and E-beam sterilizable. It offers good mechanical properties in broad temperature range. ULTEM™ resin HU1100 (Asia) exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance. Recommended for pharmaceutical, surgical, ophthalmics, personal accessory, respiratory & sleep therapy, personal recreation, healthcare, patient testing, fluid & blood handling, medical facility infrastructure and consumer applications. It is biocompatible (ISO 10993 or USP Class VI) and healthcare management of change applies. The grade is food contact compliant.
