ULTEM™ resin HU1100 (Europe)

ULTEM™ resin HU1100 (Europe) by SABIC is an unreinforced, amorphous, flame-retarded, standard flow, high stiffness polyetherimide with glass transition temperature of 217°C. It is steam-, gamma-, EtO- and E-beam sterilizable. It offers good mechanical properties in broad temperature range. It exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength and high heat resistance. It provides hydrolytic stability, good dimensional stability, chemical resistance, low smoke and toxicity. It is suitable for pharmaceutical, surgical, ophthalmics, personal accessory, respiratory & sleep therapy, personal recreation, healthcare, patient testing, fluid & blood handling, medical facility infrastructure and consumer applications. It is biocompatible (ISO 10993 or USP Class VI) and healthcare management of change applies. ULTEM™ resin HU1100 (Europe) is food contact compliant.
