ULTEM™ resin HU2310 (Americas)

ULTEM™ resin HU2310 (Americas) by SABIC is a biocompatible, amorphous, enhanced flow polyetherimide (PEI), reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Exhibits excellent mechanical properties in a broad temperature range. Offers good metal adhesion, high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, chemical resistance, low smoke and toxicity. It provides high glass transition temperature (Tg) up to 217°C, low creep sensitivity, good dimensional stability, low shrinkage, high strength, high heat resistance. It is inherently flame retarded and steam-, gamma-, EtO- and E-beam sterilizable. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. ULTEM™ resin HU2310 (Americas) is used in medical devices and pharmaceutical applications. It meets the requirements of ECO certification, food contact compliance, ISO 10993 and USP Class VI.
