PEXIDAN® L/T-UV

PEXIDAN® L/T-UV is a high density, moisture-curable PEX system by SACO AEI Polymers. It consists of a silane grafted base compound A-1001 and a catalyst masterbatch CAT-003 (or A-1022 and CAT-117). Suitable for hydronic heating, UL/CSA), hot & cold water plumbing pipe and DR 9 pipe applications in continuous service. Provides superior resistance to oxidation by hot and chlorinated water. Used in domestic continuous re-circulation systems and is listed by NSF as a NSF-pw CL5 / PEX 5006 material. It is listed by NSF International to standards 14 and 61, NSFI certification to ASTM F876 and ASTM F2023 and Canadian Standards Association standard B137.5. When mixed and extruded in the proper proportions, PEXIDAN® L/T-UV results in a material that is crosslinkable by exposure to moisture or by immersion in hot water at 90-95°C. It is PPI/ NSF listed potable water to 200°F, continuous recirc to 140°F, 3 month UV rated.
