SELVOL™ MM-51 by Sekisui Specialty Chemical is a white to off-white colored, chemically stable, tackified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH or PVA) grade available in the form of granules. It is manufactured from vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) via a multistep process. Exhibits high tensile strength, excellent adhesive & bonding characteristics and ease of film formation. Offers solubility in hot water and excellent stability to sunlight. SELVOL™ MM-51 provides resistance to greases, petroleum hydrocarbons, animal or vegetable oils and organic solvents.
