Amodel® AE-9950

Amodel® AE-9950 by Solvay is polyphthalamide (PPA) designed for high-voltage e-motor, inverter busbars and other demanding components in power electronics. It is a high-temperature electrically-friendly, non-corrosive, heat stabilized grade that retains its high strength and stiffness. Improves the mechanical, thermal and electrical performance of e-mobility components. It helps in enabling electronic processes and assembly including surface mount technology (SMT), IR reflow soldering & over-molding of metals. It shows dielectric properties, volume resistivity and exceptional comparative tracking index (CTI) ratings with high thermal cycle shock resistance from -40 to 150°C. Amodel® AE-9950 maintains mechanical integrity after thousands of hours at elevated temperatures and in high humidity & chemically aggressive environments.
