Amodel® AS-1945 HS

Amodel® AS-1945 HS by Solvay is a heat stabilized, polyphthalamide (PPA) grade reinforced with 45% glass fiber. It is developed specifically for improved performance in 50/50 ethylene glycol and water environment. Exhibits good dimensional stability, stiffness, high strength, good resistance to anti-freeze, glycol, chemicals, creep- and heat. Designed for processing by injection molding. Used in high performance automotive components exposed to high temperature anti-freeze solutions at 226°F (108°C). Potential applications include thermostat housings, heater core endcaps, heater hose connectors, water inlets/outlets, valves and under the hood applications. Other industries include metal replacement, machine/mechanical parts, power/other tools and thin walled parts. Amodel® AS-1945 HS complies with RoHS and Automotive Specifications. The grade is available in Black: AS-1945 HS BK 324 form.
