APC-2 PEEK

APC-2 PEEK by Solvay is a semi-crystalline poly (ether-ether-ketone) thermoplastic composite. It is a fully impregnated, unidirectional prepreg with a large database. Possess excellent toughness and damage tolerance properties. Retains good mechanical properties at cryogenic temperatures. Offers excellent environmental-, fire-, wear-, creep- and fatigue resistance. Laminates and parts can be fabricated using autoclave and rapid stamping techniques at 382°C. Suitable for lightly loaded applications at 260°C. Designed for aircraft structures, space components and other structural engineering components. APC-2 PEEK has an indefinite shelf life at ambient conditions.
