AvaSpire® AV-722 SL30

AvaSpire® AV-722 SL30 is a black colored, flame retardant, polyaryletherketone (PAEK) grade reinforced with carbon fiber, graphite and PTFE lubricant. Exhibits better chemical resistance than PEEK grades, high mechanical strength, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good friction properties and good wear resistance. Provides high melt strength, low melt flow, high viscosity, long term thermal-oxidative stability and high stiffness at elevated temperatures. It can be processed by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Recommended for automotive and oil/gas applications. Used in rods, pipe, tubing, profiles, rollers, bushings, bearings, wear rings and wear strips.
