Halar® 3404DA

Halar® 3404DA by Solvay is a pearl-white, semi-crystalline ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer. It is melt-processable fluorinated resin designed for electrostatic powder coatings. It possesses outstanding chemical resistance, good electrical properties, good thermal stability, optimum permeation temperature, outstanding flame resistance, good surface finish, high hardness, high purity and good corrosion resistance. It provides superior water vapor permeation resistance. It is used in anti-corrosion applications such as lining or in piping, tanks and other vessels, wire and cable applications, in communication cable or specialty cable, semiconductor or PV market for wet-tools constructions, microelectronics, chemical processing and pharmaceuticals. Halar® 3404DA complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.138O(a)(4).
