KetaSpire® KT-820 BK 95

KetaSpire® KT-820 BK 95 by Solvay is a low flow, black colored, flame retardant polyetheretherketone (PEEK) resin lubricated with calcium stearate (0.01%). It is a semi-crystalline, radio-translucent grade exhibiting good wear-, heat-, chemical-, fatigue-, impact-, radiation (gamma) and steam resistance. Provides high purity, good dimensional stability, processability and ductility. Offers low CLTE, high limiting PV properties and excellent dielectric properties with low loss at high temperatures and frequencies. Shows good sterilizability by autoclave, E-beam, ethylene oxide, heat, radiation and steam. It can be processed by blow molding, film extrusion, injection molding, machining, profile extrusion, thermoforming and wire & cable extrusion. Recommended for healthcare/medical applications such as medical devices, hospital goods, dental applications and surgical instruments, transportation, electrical/electronics such as connectors & housings, aircraft, automotive tubing and film, gears, seals, pump parts, chemical processing and oil/gas applications. KetaSpire® KT-820 BK 95 complies with RoHS, FAA FAR 2.853a (that is, passes 60s VB flame, smoke & toxicity requirements), ISO 10993 and ISO 10993-Part 1.
