KetaSpire® KT-820 GF15 by Solvay is a low flow, biocompatible, radiotranslucent, polyether ether ketone (PEEK) grade. It is reinforced with 15% glass fiber which improves surface aesthetics and reduces anisotropy. Provides a balance of strength and stiffness with impact resistance and elongation at break. Possesses flame retardance, ease of melt processing, high purity and excellent chemical resistance to organics, acids and bases. Offers good sterilizability and good dimensional stability. Shows resistance to radiation (gamma), wear, fatigue, high heat and steam. It is sterilized by autoclave, E-beam, ethylene oxide, heat, radiation and steam. KetaSpire® KT-820 GF15 is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in aircraft, automotive, connectors, dental, electrical/ electronic, film, hospital goods, industrial, medical devices, pump parts, seals, surgical instruments, healthcare, chemical processing, transportation, oil and gas applications. It is also available as Natural: KT-820 GF15 NT grade.
