PrimoSpire® PR-250 NT

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Solvay
PrimoSpire® PR-250 NT by Solvay is a natural, ultra-high performance, amorphous, self-reinforced polyphenylene (SRP) polymer. It is a non-combustible, melt-processable, flame retardant grade. The unique properties of this material are primarily due to the inherent rigid-rod structure. It is suitable for processing by compression molding, injection molding, profile-, film-, wire & cable extrusion and machining. It shows very low coefficient of linear thermal expansion (CLTE), very low moisture absorption, exceptional low temperature performance, high thermal stability, ductility, high stiffness, high strength, exceptional hardness and surface finish. It offers good resistance towards scratch, solvent and chemical. PrimoSpire® PR-250 NT is used in aircraft substructures, semiconductor components, bushings, bearings, gears, films, housings, light-weight vehicle suspensions systems and healthcare/ medical devices and tubing. It complies with RoHS.
