Ryton® R-7-232

Ryton® R-7-232 by Syensqo is a natural or black colored, flame retardant polyphenylene sulphide (PPS) reinforced with 65% glass/ mineral. It exhibits heat resistance, excellent dimensional stability, very low moisture absorption and strong chemical resistance. It possesses high flow and easy processability of complex parts. It provides long-term reliability at temperatures up to 200°C (392°F). It is used in food industry appliance components such as parts for deep-oil fryers, coffee machines, ovens and microwaves. Ryton® R-7-232 complies with UL 94 V0 flame rating, U.S. Food and Drug Administration, NSF 51 and European Union’s EU 10/2011 regulations for use as a component material intended for in food contact applications.
