Udel® P-1700 LCD

Udel® P-1700 LCD by Solvay is a hydrolytically stable, colorable polysulfone (PSU) reinforced with 30% glass fiber. Is available in slight yellow and transparent (GF-130 NT) colors. Possesses a lower amount of cyclic dimer, good toughness and higher fiber strength. Exhibits good chemical-, acid-, alcohol-, alkali-, hydrocarbon-, creep-, high heat and thermal resistance. Offers the membrane producer good solubility in commercially available dipolar aprotic solvents, such as dimethylacetamide (DMAC), dimethylformamide, (DMF) and N-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP). Can be processed by extrusion, coating, solution processing and injection molding. Recommended for the fabrication of porous membranes for filtration applications. Udel® P-1700 LCD complies with RoHS.
