Styropek® BFL 495

Styropek® BFL 495 by Styropek is a 100% recyclable, auto-extinguishable, flame retardant modified expandable polystyrene (EPS) grade. Offers fast cycle and excellent surface finish. Contains medium pentane content as an expanding agent and do not contain chlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons compounds. Compatible with many anti-static additives, mineral oil, color additives and other additives added during processing. Available as pentane odored, white colored spherical beads and is insoluble in water. Styropek® BFL 495 by Styropek is suitable for processing by foaming. Recommended for shape molding for thin walled applications requiring modified material. Can also be used in a wide variety of applications including blocks for panels, general insulation, below grade use, fabrication, flotation, ICF´s (insulated concrete forms), thick or thin walled custom molding and general packaging. Styropek® BFL 495 by Styropek complies with UL 94 HF-1 flame rating (UL listing UL R38219), ICC-ES, FM, GREENGUARD, REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals) and RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive) regulations.
