SP253 by Supreme Petrochem is a recyclable polystyrene (PS) grade. Exhibits high stiffness, moderate toughness and good clarity. For improved gloss toughness the grade is blended with high impact polystyrene (HIPS). Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Recommended for ball pens, small appliances housings and small impellers. SP253 complies with UL 94 HB flame rating and FDA 21 CFR 177.1640 for food contact applications. Meets with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO TS16949 standards.
