Chemlon® 225 GVNH BK555 is a halogen-free flame retardant polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) grade reinforced with glass fiber. Provides high performance in terms of stiffness and heat- & chemical- resistance. Used in automoive (under-hood, under-chassis, exterior, and interior components), buildings and construction industry (window hinge end cap, drapery and blind hardware, high impact roofing bolts, DIY wall plug fixtures, small diameter plumbing fittings, PVC Window frame fixtures, spacers and accessories and conservatory roof brackets). Also used in electrical switches, housings, connectors, terminal blocks and bobbins. Complies with UL 94.
