Chemlon® 253-15GHIU

Chemlon® 253-15GHIU is a heat stabilized, UV stabilized, light stabilized polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) grade reinforced with 15% glass fiber. Exhibits good surface finish, good weather resistance and is impact modified. Provides high performance in terms of stiffness and heat- & chemical- resistance. Color change after is seen after 2500kJ/m² exposure (SAE J 1960) <3 Delta E. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automoive (under-hood, under-chassis, exterior, and interior components), buildings and construction industry (window hinge end cap, drapery and blind hardware, high impact roofing bolts, DIY wall plug fixtures, small diameter plumbing fittings, PVC Window frame fixtures, spacers and accessories and conservatory roof brackets). Complies with UL 94.
