Chemlon® MDF463 is a heat stabilized, impact modified polyamide 6 (Nylon 6) grade reinforced with 15% glass fiber. Offers good balance of rigidity, impact resistance and toughness over a wide temperature range. Provides high performance in terms of stiffness and heat- & chemical- resistance. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automoive (under-hood, under-chassis, exterior, and interior components), buildings and construction industry (window hinge end cap, drapery and blind hardware, high impact roofing bolts, DIY wall plug fixtures, small diameter plumbing fittings, PVC Window frame fixtures, spacers and accessories and conservatory roof brackets). Complies with UL94.
