Halguard® 58240

Halguard® 58240 by Teknor Apex is filled, UV stabilized, electrically insulating, low smoke, halogen-free flame retardant ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) grade. It offers good electrical properties and sunlight resistance. It provides resistance to heat shock, heat deformation and ease of processing. Suitable for processing by wire and cable extrusion applications. It is used in control cables, optic fiber data cables and cables used in transit infrastructure as in the case of tunnels. Recommended for LSZH insulation and jacketing applications. It complies with RoHS, UL 1685-FT4/IEEE 1202 and UL 1666 standards.
