TOPAS® 6013F-04 by TOPAS Advanced Polymers is an ethylene-cyclic olefin copolymer (COC). This glass-clear, amorphous food grade resin enhances polyethylene packaging film performance. It provides excellent clarity, high stiffness/modulus, high water vapor barrier properties and good thermoformability. Its high temperature resistance makes it ideal for pharmaceutical, medical and food packaging applications. Films containing 6013F-04 generally can be reclaimed and recycled with PE. TOPAS® 6013F-04 can be used in coextruded films as a discrete layer or in blends with PE and it complies with FDA directive 21 CFR 177.1520 for direct food contact Available worldwide.
