Luminy® D070

Luminy® D070 by Total Corbion PLA is an odorless, bio-based polylactic acid (PLA) grade. Offers a significant reduction in carbon footprint compared to oil-based plastics. It has a bio-based content of 100% (confidence level 1) and bio-based carbon content of 100% according to EN16785-1 under certificate number DIC-00001. It can be processed by extrusion and injection molding. When combined with PLA homopolymers, it yields a compound that exhibits good heat resistance, excellent mechanical properties and a reduced processing cycle time. Complies with EN-13432 standard. It has been certified compostable by Vinçotte (OK Compost S478) and by European Bioplastics 7W2030 (Seedling 7W2030) up to a thickness of 1.0 mm. Luminy® D070 meets EU commission regulation 10/2011 on plastic materials and articles for food contact applications.
