HDPE XLS 12 B

HDPE XLS 12 B is a high performance hexene-based black colored high density polyethylene (HDPE) grade with MRS 10MPa and PE 100 classification. Exhibits superior resistance to sagging, enabling the manufacture of very thick wall pipes with even wall thickness distribution, shows an outstanding resistance to slow crack growth and rapid crack propagation ensuring safe and long-term network operation, allows an optimized formulation of additives and finely dispersed carbon black providing outstanding long-term stability in service. Is suitable for processing by injection-, extrusion molding and is intended for extrusion of large diameter and thick wall pressure pipes. Used in large pipes, drinking water and irrigation. Is ISO 1872-PE, E/M-ACGHL, 50-T003 compliant grade.
