Lumicene® M5510 EP

Lumicene® M5510 EP is an antioxidant & PPA containing, water insoluble metallocene based high density homopolymer polyethylene grade. It can be processed at high output rates with low extrusion pressure, excellent bubble stability and gauge control in comparison with conventional LLDPE and other metallocene based polyethylene. Enables use in applications with moisture barrier requirements, such as dry food packaging, and brings improved heat resistance, compared to commonly used HDPE. Suitable for applications in the field of consumer, industrial, food, & hygiene packaging such as bags, heavy-duty sacks, automatic packaging, mailing film and lamination. Applications include blown non-packaging, blown consumer packaging, blown secondary packaging, blown industrial packaging, non-packaging film, primary packaging film, secondary packaging and industrial packaging. Lumicene® M5510 EP fulfills harmonized requirements on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food as described in the Regulation (EU) 10/2011 amended up to the Regulation (EU) 2015/174 and its application into national laws.
