Lumicene® M6040

Lumicene® M6040 is an antioxidant containing, water insoluble second generation metallocene based high density polyethylene grade. Exhibits high stiffness and good optical properties. It can be processed at high output rates with low extrusion pressure, low neck-in, excellent drawability and gauge control in comparison with conventional LLDPE and first generation metallocene based polyethylene. Suitable for monolayer and multilayer films. Applications include cast non-packaging, cast consumer packaging, cast secondary packaging, cast industrial packaging, non-packaging film, primary packaging film, secondary consumer packaging and industrial packaging. Lumicene® M6040 fulfills harmonized requirements on plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with food as described in the Regulation (EU) 10/2011 amended up to the Regulation (EU) 2015/174 and its application into national laws.
