LX5 02-15

LX5 02-15 by Total Refining and Chemicals is a metallocene isotactic polypropylene (PP) random copolymer grade. Shows narrow molecular weight distribution than conventional polypropylene. It produces films with excellent heat seal performance and outstanding optical properties. Offers excellent material for use as a heat sealable layer in production of coextruded biaxially oriented films due to its good processability, excellent optics, very low extractables, low seal initiation temperature and exceptional hot tack seal strength properties. LX5 02-15 is suitable for processing by extrusion molding. Applications include carpet backing, bulk continuous filament, staple fibers, caps and closures, compounds and masterbatches, floorcoverings, food and beverage packaging. Is a FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 compliant grade.
