CALIBRE™ 5101-15

CALIBRE™ 5101-15 by Trinseo is a 10% glass reinforced polycarbonate (PC) resin, containing mold release agent. It provides high rigidity, increased modulus, ignition resistance, improved heat distortion resistance with minimal shrinkage. It is sterilizable through ethylene oxide (Eto) and steam. It has undergone biocompatibility testing based on ISO 10993 (Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices). CALIBRE™ 5101-15 is used in information technology equipment, telecommunications and medical applications like surgical device handles and dialyzer.
