CALIBRE™ 5101-8

CALIBRE™ 5101-8 by Trinseo is a 10% glass reinforced polycarbonate (PC) resin with good modulus. It provides improved heat distortion resistance with minimal shrinkage. It is sterilizable through ethylene oxide (Eto) and steam. It contains mold release agent. CALIBRE™ 5101-8 is used in information technology equipment, telecommunications and medical applications like surgical devices: handles, housings, etc. It has undergone biocompatibility testing based on ISO 10993 (Biological Evaluation of Medical Devices).
