EMERGE™ PC/PET 9500CR by Trinseo is a blend of polycarbonate (PC) and polyethylene terephthalate (PET). It shows outstanding chemical- and ignition resistance properties. It possesses good aesthetics, excellent toughness and is effective against the nine leading chemical antagonists. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. EMERGE™ PC/PET 9500CR is recommended for monitoring devices: housings & covers that are subjected to repeated exposure to a variety of cleaners and disinfectants commonly used in hospitals. A limited biocompatibility testing has been completed (ISO 10993 Parts 5 and 10) for this grade.
