EDISTIR® N 1840 by Versalis Eni Group is a polystyrene general purpose (GPPS) grade. Is suitable for food contact. Exhibits excellent processability, fast molding cycle, easy flow and medium heat. Designed for thermoforming, sheet extrusion and injection molding applications. EDISTIR® N 1840 is recommended for complex and thin-wall parts, thermoformed disposable packaging of dairy products in blends with polystyrene high impact (HIPS) and coextruded glossy sheets for industrial & fridge requirements. Used for manufacturing of beverage cups, point of sales, containers for foods, toys, stationary, housewares, medical articles (Petri dishes). Complies with ISO 1622-PS, G, 085-12, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (UL file E83071).
