EDISTIR® N 3840

EDISTIR® N 3840 by Versalis Eni Group is a polystyrene general purpose (GPPS) grade. Is suitable for food contact. Exhibits excellent processability, fast molding cycle, easy flow and medium heat. Designed for thermoforming, sheet extrusion and injection molding applications. EDISTIR® N 3840 is recommended for complex and thin-wall parts, glossy capping of polystyrene high impact (HIPS) sheets for industrial & fridge requirements, blending with HIPS & clear styrene butadiene styrene copolymer (SBS) for stiffer thermoformable sheets. Used for thermoformed disposable packaging, manufacturing of molded beverage cups, stationary, containers for food, toys, housewares and medical articles (Petri dishes). Complies with ISO 1622-PS, G, 085-12, EU No 10/2011 and UL 94 HB Flame Rating (internal test).
